Tony's POV
One of the things I remember was you, being the awesome person that you are, dodging the bullet to save Gibbs' life and risk your own. When I looked over I saw you were on the ground, and you were not moving, and it was at that moment that I knew my life would be forever changed I ran to your side, as fast as my legs would take me, and quickly unzipped your jacket, but I wasn't seeing what I wanted to see...I didn't see the bullet in your vest, instead I just saw a pool of blood all around you.
Just then I heard Gibbs yelling into his cell phone "get an ambulance here as fast as humanly possible", and then he said those words that will forever stay in my mind, "we have an agent down, and its not looking good, please hurry! I can't lose her; she's one of my best:"
I could do nothing but sob, after all I was losing the love of my life, and I may never get to tell you how bad it hurts inside, to see you like this it breaks my heart, I began crying uncontrollably, and whisper "I love you Kate" quietly so no one can hear. Just then I feel a hand lightly touch my shoulder, and turn around, and I see Gibbs. I hope he didn't hear what I just said. I then hear him say "she knew."
Ok, so he did hear me, and at that moment my perspective of Gibbs changed, it turns out he does have a heart. He knows what its like to be in love. I then hear him say "She'll be ok" And after hearing those words from Gibbs I knew he was right, I knew you would be ok…after all you are the strongest person I know, and if Gibbs said it must be true.
