Okay so honestly, if this doesn't get any type of review I probably won't continue. I quit writing fanfic years ago because of lost of interest but I started writing again in small manors and I thought why not try a story? See if people like it.
Disclaimer: If these characters were really mine I wouldn't be sitting here during summer break writing fanfic.
It was a nice day for being the middle of summer. She decided a walk through central park would be a nice change of scenery.
After the horrid case they'd just closed some green and blue and living, happy people seemed like a good start.
It was 1pm but she'd just gotten off a 52 hour shift.
One would think it'd be time to go home but she wasn't interested. She was too wound up to sleep.
She sat down on a bark bench - the very same park bench that Richard White had come within an inch of her throat with his blade.
She remembers that moment of her life as clearly as if it were just yesterday. Hard to believe it's been nearly 13 years.
That was back when Elliot was her partner. Back when he was around to worry about her safety. Back when he cared enough to.
Don't get her wrong, she likes Amaro but as much as she tries to move past it and just forget all about the majority of her time at the precinct,it's just not going to happen.
There is no duplicate of Elliot Stabler. And you can thank God for that.
After a few long moments of relaxing the adrenaline starts to wear off and she becomes very well aware of just how tired she is.
She hails a cab home and crawls into her loving bed. It's the middle of the day but she's going to sleep as if it were the dead of the night.
-next day-
She's pretending to do paperwork but she feels there's just something off today. She can't put her finger on it but something is most definitely askew.
As she looks around trying to figure what it could be Captain Don Cragen comes through his office saying, "Big case people!"
A few groans escape some of the detectives seeing as they just got off a "big case."
"Why can't these sickos take a break?" Amaro asks rhetorically.
"Missing girl 16, abducted getting off the subway," Don states to the room.
"So what makes this an SVU case?" Rollins asks.
"Well she is most definitely a special victim," he says and glances at Olivia.
He pulls up a picture of the missing girl on the screen and Olivia immediately knows who it is. Her mouth gapes open and an "Oh God no," escapes her.
A picture of a blonde-haired blue-eyed girl is up on that screen. Underneath the girls class photo is her name.
Elizabeth Stabler.
You're input means everything! Shall I continue? xx
