This just randomly popped into my head and it'll probably be a two-shot because I don't feel like making it a one-shot even though it's super short. And to those of you who have read my other fics, yes, I can write hurt/comfort. Oh, and there is a possible character death, I'm not sure yet. Sorry for any spelling/grammar mistakes.
Disclaimer: I don't own Person of Interest.
Harold frowned at Bear. The dog had been acting strange for sometime and had not moved for so many hours, Finch had lost count. Reese walked quietly into the Library. Finch only noticed him when he spoke.
"Bear doesn't look good."
Finch glanced up at the vigilante. "He has been acting strange."
John reached down and rubbed the dog's ears. Bear didn't move. "Should we take him to the vet?"
Finch weighed the possibilities. There could be nothing wrong with the dog and they might blow some of their cover. Or there could be something seriously wrong. In that case, Finch would happily blow several million dollars. "I'll find one close to one of the safe houses and we'll go there."
Reese nodded and went to find Bear's leash. When he returned a minute later, Finch was putting on his coat and trying to get Bear to get off his bed.
John waved the leash slightly but Bear didn't so much as wag his tail. He offered the dog his tennis ball. Then his squeaky toy. Finally, one of his favorite treats. "Come on, Bear, hierheen komen!" Bear whined but still didn't move.
Finch frowned. "Do you suppose you can carry him?"
John nodded and gently picked up the eighty pound Belgian Malinois. He didn't protest.
Told you it was short. Hopefully the second chappie will be up soon. Hope you liked it! Please review!
