Welcome Back
Summary: The year is 2014 and Merlin has been waiting for Arthur's ressurection, but what if it's not just Arthur who makes it back, but the Knights of the Round Table too, and Gwen (because I like her). Isn't this just a lovely reunion! But not is all jolly and grand, dark forces are at work and it's up to the newly risen Knights, King and Queen to get a grips with the modern world and help Merlin save the future of Albion and the world.

Prologue
The setting sun cast a warm glow over the Lake, filling the heart of the man at the water's edge with hope. Even after so many years of waiting, that hope still stubbonly refused to be snuffed out. It was obvious the man was old. Not due to his features, which didn't look a day over 28, but his eyes. These were heavy with wisdom and loss. "Maybe soon," he sighed, "but not today." With one final look across the lake the man turned and left.
