Reality of an LRIG
She hadn't ever guessed, but now it was reality. An Eternal Girl became an LRIG – was thrown back into the circulation until they lost and their final wish was torn away for them. Or, if she got another body, she could swear off the WIXOSS game forever…
But could she really trick her Selector like that? Like Hanayo had with her?
But when the alternative was being trapped in a card forever, yes, she probably could.
If it was a girl, she could even make her own wish come true. It wouldn't be taboo anymore. She didn't know what would happen to Hanayo in that circumstance though. With the rules of the Selector game she would disappear…
But that was what to be an LRIG meant, right? To play this ruthless game and try to come out on top. Maybe Ruko and Tama could do otherwise, if they finished their game. Tama believed so, anyhow. But it wasn't necessarily the case. There might not be any special LRIG that could end the cycle. She really only could fight for her own wish and take on a Selector's for the prize it offered in return…
Someone picked up her card. She opened her eyes. Stared at her Selector.
And froze.
It was a girl, yes. But of all the girls in the world, why did it have to be one of her best friends?
