The Monster Under his Hollow Mask
He has made this choice to protect them all
and not for a moment does he regret,
not when he almost dies, or has to crawl
or when the face of evil truth is met.
He hadn't expected so much this tale
to tell, throughout this journey to get strong
enough to defend them all, to not fail
like he has in the past. That was a wrong
he won't repeat again, if he can help.
It doesn't matter what he has to give:
life, death, health, pain…or an embarrassed yelp,
it's enough that they are happy, and live.
Even if it cost him his human skin.
They were more than just friends: his precious kin.
