"One little bite pwease!"
I begged the little dark haired boy shaking his head.
"Nope!" He said while giggling.
"Oh, okay I guess then no cookie baking for you…"
I trailed off. His eyes went as big as saucers.
"NO! See yummy!" The little boy said while stuffing his face with food. When it was all gone I cleared the dish.
"What kind of cookies are we going to make Auntie?" I smiled at him.
"Well Louie, I was thinking asparagus cookies!" His face paled.
"EWWWW! Chocolate please! Or I will tell Uncie (Unkie) Jassie that you tried to poison me!" I laughed at my nephews cuteness.
"Oh alright you win! How does double chocolate cookies sound?" His eyes grew huge and were practically popping out of his head.
"I LOVE YOU AUNTIE!" I just ruffled his hair and started making the cookies.
After Louie had wolfed down 3 cookies and crashed from the sugar high did I finally allow my tears to fall. It has been a few months since the 'incident' and I couldn't help but feeling that it wasn't over. I never told Jason this of course, I would never want to worry him. Hearing him snore peacefully, I wiped off my tears and started cleaning up the mess we had made. When I was putting the last dish away I heard my cell phone go off. "Hello?" I inquired into the device softly.
"ARIA! Oh my gosh youre okay! A Said that-that-that." My brows furrowed together in confusion.
"Guys, what. Did. A. Say?" I put a lot of stress on that sentence because when A was involved, it could never be good.
"She said that no man wants a dead girl." Spencer said quietly. "And beneath it was a picture of you with bruises around your neck, being lowered into a grave." I made a noise like a dying fish, and collapsed right on the ground.
I know its short but I just wanted a little teaser until I get back in the habit again!
