Disclaimer: I do not own Pokemon
Prologue
I ran, and ran, and ran. I was running as fast as I possibly could. My bones ached and my legs were screaming at me, telling me to stop, that they were going to give out at any second. I had to keep running though. I had to get away. I finally got the opportunity to escape. I've been waiting years for this, and now that it had finally happened, it seemed too good to be true. It all felt like a dream, yet all too realistic to be one.
I had no idea where I was going, I just knew that I had to find someone, someone that could help me. A Pokemon Center would be the most ideal, but I have no clue where the nearest one is, I don't even know where I am.
I started to slow down when I noticed a sign come into my vision. "Mt. Silver..." I read, trying to catch my breath. It'd be hard to get up there, but I didn't really have any option. I didn't know where the nearest town was, and backtracking would likely end up in me getting caught, and I sure wasn't about to let that happen. Well, Mt. Silver it is I guess. Hopefully no one would think to look for me here.
The cave was quite dark, and it was hard for me to navigate through, but I'd finally gotten out of it... only to find myself in the middle of a blizzard. It was freezing, and the snow blurred my vision, but I kept moving forward. Maybe at the top I could see where the closest town was.
The blizzard has finally started to slow down, and I'm able see things a lot more clearly. My body however, was not fairing too well. I was freezing, and probably had frost bite, and I'm very surprised that my legs haven't given out yet. Maybe they're just as determined as me to get away from the past, and move on into the future, even if it meant possibly destroying them.
As I took my final step and reached the top, I noticed someone standing there, facing away from me. A yellow electric creature stood next to the person. It realized that I was there and turned around, electricity building up in it's cheeks. 'A Pikachu...' I thought, remembering that I had read about the small electric creature. "Pikachu, stop." I turned my attention from the Pikachu to his trainer. His voice was very calm and smooth, it didn't stop my heart from racing though, fearing that he might change his mind about his Pikachu hurting me.
He slowly turned around and looked straight at me, red eyes staring into my blue ones.
Well, this my first fanfic! This is just the prologue, the actual chapters will be longer, I promise. c: The main character is an OC, but that's the only one, there will not be any other OCs in this story. Anyway, let me know what you think. Constructive criticism is also very welcome! I'm always looking to improve. c: Until next time!
