"Moony," I groaned loudly. "I'm broke, can you buy me some treats at Honeydukes?"
"Broke, Sirius?" Moony questioned sarcastically. "Then explain how you were able to afford a firebolt broomstick."
"You saw that?" I asked surprisingly.
"Yes Sirius I saw it. And I don't know if you should be having treats. Remember what happened last time in the common room?"
"Hey, I only sent 9 people to the hospital wing, it was nothing like in herbology."
"Don't remind me Sirius. One of those 9 people were me."
"Alright Moony. Anyways, I wanted to give you the firebolt for your birthday as a surprise."
"Well looks like your surprise has been exposed." Said Moony. "By you. Besides, if you havn't noticed, my birthday past last month."
"It did? I'm sorry Moony!"
"It's quite alright, you have a history of missing my birthday."
"Fine, I'll give you the broom when we get back to Hogwarts. But you see, I spent all my money on the firebolt, so now I'm broke."
"Again, explain why your pockets are teeming with gold."
"How do you know these things?!"
"Sirius. There are so many coins in your pockets that I could hear them rattling from a mile away."
"Damn. There goes my 18th attempt to scam you."
"19th Sirius, 19th."
"Ok, ok. Will you stop rubbing it in my face?"
"I'll think about it. And because of your 19 failed scam attempts... on me anyways... I'll buy you 19 peices of candy. But you can't eat them all at once."
"First of all, yay! Second of all, I thought you said you would stop rubbing it in my face?"
"I said I would think about it Sirius." Said Remus slickly."
(6 minutes later, Sirius is stuffing his face with candy at Honeydukes)
"Moony, I've gotta hand it to ya. Failure is actually pretty... sweet. You should fail sometime."
"Nice try, Padfoot. But I believe I will stick to victory."
"Moony. I feel... funny."
"That might be because you ate all 19 pieces of candy at once in under 3 minutes even though I told you not to, Padfoot. Then again, what more could I expect from you?"
"No, I mean I feel... hyper."
(Sirius begins to vibrate)
Moony on his knees: "Oh dear God, why did I give Sirius Black 19 pieces of candy?! ALL AT ONCE?!?!
(Sirius vibrating vigourously with a crooked smile on his face)
Moony: "EVERYBODY LEAVE THE BUILDING IF YOU WANT TO LIVE!"
(Sirius running at impossible speeds on the walls)
"WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!! I LOVE CANDY!!!!!!!! FAILURE IS SOOOOOOO SWEET!!!!!!"
Moony trembling underneath a table: "Dammit! Too late!"
