Asami had lost pieces of her family, but she didn't want to spend a whole lifetime crying and feeling sorry for herself. So she wished them well, she hopes that her mother is all right in the afterlife, and she still loved her father, despite what he did when he aligned with the Equalist cause.
And somehow as she carried on, journeying on, she swore that she heard her mother's warm laughter behind her.
Even as she held the transparent key, what was barely left of the door that led to what was once home, it was more soothing than she had imagined. As she marched on, she knew that they'll live on.
