Jessica slid her hair behind her ear in frustration, glancing at the pictures in her hand, and
back into the crowd.. She had been waiting for at least twenty minutes.
"At this rate, they'll never find me!"
She sat back against the chair in the diner and sighed. She folded her arms, and blew a
stray hair back into its place behind her ear.
"This sucks."
She abruptly stood up, and left the place where she had gone to eat lunch. Out of the
corner of her eye, she noticed a face that she had earlier seen in the pictures. She hurriedly ran
over to the boy, and tapped him on the shoulder. As he turned around, he jumped back.
"Whoa there"
"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you."
She apologetically begged for forgiveness. Looking up, she smiled.
"Hi! I'm Jessica!"
He looked at her confused, due to her sudden change of emotion.
"Umm, I'm…Shun."
"Then you ARE the person I'm looking for!"
Her personality change was something new to Shun. He stood dazed and confused until
another gatekeeper walked up toward them.
"Hello! I'm Ruriko, I'm a Gatekeeper"
She held out her hand in anticipation of a shake. Jessica looked at her puzzling. Ruriko
retracted her hand.
"We better take you back to headquarters."
The girl then picked up her pink luggage bags, and started walking behind the two
gatekeepers. When they arrived at the underground base, Jessica's eyes darted from side to side.
She didn't like the place, it was too dark and dreary. But she trusted these people she was
following. As they continued down the hall, she noticed a falling hat at the entrance of the tunnel,
but said nothing. They then entered a large room, with computers all around it. An old man was
standing there.
"Welcome Jessica"
She looked at him, noticing his every feature, as if trying to recreate him. Every little detail
she placed in her mind. She then let out a deep sigh.
"Hello."
She seemed quite gloomy now, and both Shun and Ruriko noticed her, once again,
sudden mood swing. Just then, a buzzer went off, and more people ran into the chamber to see
what was going on. Then the man shouted out
"Gatekeepers! Breach on level four! Get on it…NOW!"
Jessica looked form side to side, noticing each person running in different directions. She
then looked at the old man, who showed her where to go by tilting his head to the side. Jessica
then nodded in acknowledgement. She then started to run in the direction the man had shown her.
She then, in one swift movement, used a rubber band on her wrist to pull back her long blonde hair
into a bun, keeping it out of her eyes. She knew this was her time to show her potential.
As she reached the fourth deck, se realized she was completely surrounded by strange
men in black suits. In sudden shock, Her eyes turned bright white and she screamed,
"Gate of Multiplication, OPEN!!!"
She then grew pale, and slowly, as if she were breaking out of a cocoon, three people,
identical to her, walked away from the body. The four versions of her each went for an invader.
After realizing that even her clones weren't strong enough, she picked up a rock, and threw it at an
invader, and once again called upon her gate. The rock then Multiplied, and thousands of pebbles
were thrown upon the invader. But even with the large amount of numbers, the rocks didn't have
enough force. The invader stood up, and the rocks tumbled to the ground. He then picked up his
briefcase, and shot at her…
