Happiness.

Authors Note: So, because I'm in such a happy peppy mood right now, might as well write something more happy and peppy. Right?

She sat comfortably in her recliner, her own comfort zone for the last year or so. Surfing the web, her favorite pastime, it never ceased to amaze her. The unlimited amount of information stored on something so huge. As she "attacked" the keys some more, she stopped to take a sip of her coffee, then she continued to type her e-mail. Why was e-mailing her mother such a long process?
After sending the e-mail and returning her coffee to the sink she returned to her chair and turned on the local new station.
"Today soldiers are being brought home." The newswoman said enthusiastically. An emotion of happiness spread over her features. May sighed and clicked the television off and sat back.
How many times has she heard, "More troops are being brought home today!" To bad none of them were her fiancé. The last time she saw him was Thanksgiving, which was less than 7 months ago.
May stood up and went to fix herself some dinner. Throwing some leftover pizza into the microwave, she set the timer and returned to her previous seat in the living room. Before she could sit down, she heard the door bell ring. It almost startled her. Her doorbell never rang, occasionally, but not usually on a Sunday. What was up?
She got up from her chair and walked over to the door. She looked through the peephole, but all she found was a pile of luggage in the way. She opened the door with caution. Why would a pile of luggage be in front of her room?
"Surprise!" she heard someone yell. The voice registered into her head immediately, the sound of his voice was almost music to her ears.
"Ash!" she cried ecstatically. "You came back!"
He engulfed her into a hug and kissed her hair tenderly. Why does it seem like a million years have passed since he did this?
"Yeah May, I came back." He whispered into her hair.
"I missed you so much, words can't even described." She mumbled into his chest.
"I know, I know." His voice broke as he stroked her back.
"Ash?" she asked looking up at him.
"What May?"
"I love you."
"I love you too."
There lips meet in a sweet embrace.
Happiness. May, was feeling so much happiness. So much happiness it was almost to much more. It was almost a new emotion she was experiencing. It felt so wonderful, so pleasurable. She always wanted to feel like this, and with Ash that would be possible.
This was probably not that good either, it was also written in less than an hour. So, tee hee. Atleast I'm writing, what is this the second oneshot in less than 6 days? That is almost a new record for me. (Throw party!)
