Oh my talking bird
though you know so few words
they're on infinite repeat
like your brain can't keep up with your beat
"I hope you're ready to die, Naruto. You can't change fate." Neji smirked.
Naruto slowly got up. "I won't lose to you. That is my nindo. Like I said, I vow to win."
and you're kept in an open cage
so you're free to leave or stay
and sometimes you get confused
that there's a hint that i'm trying to give you
"IDIOT! I WILL CHANGE THE HYUUGA CLAN!!!" roared Naruto.
Oh no, my Kaiten! Neji thought, panicking.
Naruto drilled him into the ground.
Suddenly there was silence. Everyone awaited the result.
Neji stepped out of the crater he had just made. Looking at the curled Naruto, he smirked.
"Sorry, kid, but Destiny wins." he said, just before he received an upper cut from Naruto himself.
"WHA-" It was a shadow clone! Neji fell mercilessly to the ground.
"I failed the Academy twice in my life. My last time, they tested me on the my worst jutsu..."
What is he talking about? Neji knew that Naruto was trying to give him a lesson.
"And the jutsu was: Art of the Shadow Doppelganger."
His trademark!...Don't tell me...
"So don't go telling me about fate and destiny."
Naruto stepped out of the crater.
"And the winner is....UZUMAKI NARUTO!"
the longer you think,
the less you know what to do
"YOU IDIOT!" shrieked Tenten. She was storming up and down the hospital ward. Neji was just defeated by Naruto, the village troublemaker in the chuunin finals.
Tenten was furious. "WHY? What's with you and destiny?" she was close to tears.
Neji wriggled in his hospital bed. "Why are you sad? I've been on so many missions before and ended up in a much worse condition than this..."
"YOU DON'T GET IT DO YOU!"

Neji was confused. He had never seen Tenten this flustered in his whole life. "What don't I get, Tenten?" He was getting angrier by the minute.
Tenten looked helplessly at him. "I-I was worried th-that I would never get to see you again.."
Neji was still confused.
"I-I love you..."
Collapsing at the foot of his bed, she started crying.

Tenten woke up and looked at her surroundings. "H-how did I...DID I GET HURT???" she started screaming.
"OW, TENTEN!" she looked to her right and saw Neji beside her.
"Oh, sorry." It took her a few minutes to realize what was happening. She was in a hospital bed with Neji.
Neji smirked. "You passed out."
Tenten was speechless.

Looking into Neji's blank eyes, she gazed at him wordlessly.
He bent a bit, and putting his lips near her ear, he said, "I knew already, I just wanted to hear it come from you."
"BAKA!" she yelled, smiling.
"Shut up." he murmured, lips brushing Tenten's cheek. This caused Tenten's cheek to redden.
"Is your uncle in the building?" she asked.
"No. Why?"
"Because I don't think he'll approve of this." She put his face in her hands and kissed him.
"Baka," he said, between kisses.
