Don't Kiss Me Like This

The jewel had been completed and Narku was defeated. Since Inuyasha didn't want to go to hell with Kikyo or become a full demon they decided that the jewel would go back to Kagome's time and she would wish the well shut so that no demons could go through the well to her time looking for the jewel.

Kagome stood bye the well saying her good bye's to her best friends and lover, Inuyasha. Although she had not admitted her love to him, she had and still did love him deeply.

When it came time for Inuyasha to say good bye, (he was last) Kagome looked into his eyes not knowing what to say.

All of a sudden she leaded up and kissed him. Her arms flew around his neck, her body pressed close to his.

Inuyasha jumped at first but then put on hand through her hair and wrapped the other around her waist, breathing in her sent, he kissed her back.

When they broke for air, both blushing, Kagome looked away and with saddened eyes picked up her backpack and started towards the well.

Inuyasha jumped ahead and stopped her "Did you mean that?" he asked. "Mean what?" Kagome asked innocently. Inuyasha reached down to plant a chaste kiss on her lips "that" he said.

I got a funny feeling

"With all my heat Inuyasha" she said. Inuyasha gasped.

Inuyasha thought about this for a moment.

'She kissed me and it wasn't a friendly kiss, she kissed me she kissed me now what do I do?' he thought.

Kagome noticed Sango and Miroku had moved together with their hands clasped together and for once Miroku was being a good little monk.

Inuyasha thought back to him conversation with Miroku

Everybody swears we make the perfect pair

Miroku had said that Kagome and Inuyasha would make a good couple. Not that Inuyasha disagreed, in fact he liked the idea of Kagome and him being together.

Inuyasha looked at Kagome, she was just standing their waiting.

Miroku and Sango looked at each other and smiled. They were happy for their friends.

Kagome looked up and said "I love you to Inuyasha" He picked her up and swung her around in circles, both smiling.

Kagome spin into his arms and they shared a passionate kiss.

Kagome stayed with Inuyasha. Sango and Miroku admitted their feelings for one another and are now a couple.
