Disclaimer: All the Harry Potter stuff belongs to J.K. Rowling…you know, I really don't like to do this…it wastes my valuable writing time! I guess it's a must if I don't want to be sued! Enjoy!
The Way It Might Have Been
We are all we aware of the story of Harry Potter…up to his fifth year at least. It includes Hermione, Ron, Hagrid, and all the other famous characters we all know and love. But…what would have happened if Harry had ditched Ron and Hermione and decided to be friends with Draco, Crabbe, Goyle, Pansy, and the rest of the Slytherin gang? What would have happened if he was sorted into Slytherin…rather than Gryffindor? I have decided to tell you what might have been, had Harry taken a completely different path.
Year 1
Harry awoke early in the morning to the sound of his beastly cousin beating on the door of his so called "room." His so called "room" was actually the cupboard under the staOh, screw it! You all know the beginning, talked to a snake, got a letter, met Hagrid, went to Diagon Alley, got money, was recognized, blahdee, blahdee, blah…we will just skip to where he ends up at platform nine and three quarters.
Uncle Vernon unwilling took Harry to King's Cross Station, with no intention of making sure he got where he needed to go.
"Get Out!" Uncle Vernon yelled at Harry as he got out of the car. "You'll stay at this," he looked around, making sure no normal person was listening, "school for the whole year, don't plan to come home on vacation!"
With that, Harry nodded, muttered goodbye under his breath, got his stuff from the trunk, and went off to figure out where in the heck platform nine and three quarters.
Harry walked into the busy station, looking around trying to figure out where this platform could be. He walked down the busy sidewalk to platform nine. With a smile on his face he looked past platform nine, expecting to see the big sign, "PLATFORM NINE AND THREE QUARTERS" When he looked past platform nine, he saw…platform ten. He thought to himself Of course! The muggle's would have suspicions if there was a platform nine and three quarters with a bunch of kids with wands running around! With this rational thought in his mind, he then realized that he should have got there sooner. He couldn't go up to everyday muggle's and ask them if they had any idea where platform nine and three quarters was!
Just then he heard from not to far away, "For goodness sake, Draco, must you hall that…thing around with you every where you go? I swear, one of these days muggle's are going to start and get suspicious!"
Muggle's? Harry thought A muggle wouldn't call themselves muggle's, that would defeat the entire purpose of calling them muggle's. With Harry's logical train of thought, he sought out the women who had spoken.
Readers: This is just my first instillation of probably many. It is late right now, that's why I decided to stop here tonight! But, expect a lot more very soon!
