Hey guys! Second poem already, I know, but this one is dedicated to NAWHdinosaurs for being the first reviewer for my poem: Sea of Red. This is a plot she came up with. It's about BC and Butch fooling around, but then Buttercup dies and Butch is left in a depression. Hope you enjoy!
It was all a mistake
We were simply having fun
Were we supposed to know
There was a bullet in that gun?
But the shot echoed out
And her eyes wide with fear
They closed to the world
For the Reaper was here
The pain that possessed me
Was too much to bear
With the blood on her skin
And my hands in her hair
I wailed out in sorrow
My world, gone in flash
I wreaked my destruction
Smack! Boom! Blam! Crash!
Tears blurred my vision
And I could not see
That the Devil himself
Was coming for me
With her in my arms
Nothing else mattered
I felt her heart stop the beating
And my heart just shattered
I closed my eyes lightly
My body went limp
I will not lose her
Losing's for wimps
My body fell freely
Straight through the air
But I didn't give a damn
I didn't care
The tall pole pierced me
Right in the heart
But this was a good thing
We won't be apart
My eyes fluttered shut
And my breathing slowed down
Here lies Butch and Buttercup
Deceased in their hometown
In my last moments
I saw her appear
Along with the Reaper
Her smile was sincere
And that's when I noticed
She wanted me too
I grabbed her and kissed her
And together we flew
To be honest I don't know where
But I'd follow her night and day
Because even when I don't trust myself
I'm with Buttercup all the way
