FINAL FANTASY VII

A SPECIAL SERIES FOR FEBRUARY! A SPECIAL SERIES FOR FEBRUARY!

'A Countdown To Mutilation'

"Smell that country air! Isn't it wonderful, Cloud?", giggled Aeris.

"I guess.", Cloud replied. "Uh, Aeris? It was a nice idea to go for a walk in the country, but did we have to bring the whole freakin' party with us?"

"Hey, I got a packet o' potato chips here, if anyone wants 'em?", yelled Barrett.

It was a beautiful winters day (?!) and the party had gone for a long walk through the countryside.

"Barrett, toss 'em over here!", Cid shouted while licking his lips. "I love potato chips! The only thing missing now is a hot mug of tea!"

"We got tea!", replied Cait Sith as he pulled a teapot out from behind his back. "Anyone else thirsty?"

"Mmmm, I would like a cup!", Vincent smiled.

"Hey, why don't we all take a break here?", suggested Tifa.

They all sat down on the warm grass, sipped their tea and ate their chips.

"Aaahhh!", shrieked Vincent in pain. "This tea is much too hot!"

"Oh boy... here goes!", sighed Yuffie.

Vincent lept up from the ground and transformed into Galian Beast.

"...Um... Run!", shouted Cloud as everyone lept to their feet.

Galian Beast roared in fury. He glared at the party who were running in all directions. He chose Aeris as his target. He began to dash at a phenomenal rate towards her. He gave a final growl and lept upon her, tearing her insides out.

"Oh my God! They killed Aeris!", screamed Tifa.

"Uh, technically *he* killed Aeris, but... oh yeah! You beast!", yelled Cloud. "Hey! That's the first time that ever made any sense!"

Galian Beast fainted to the ground and within seconds, Vincent was normal once more.

"Ow, my head!", he grumbled.

"Alright, you guys ready to move on now?", asked Tifa. "We got about three more hours before it gets dark."

"Yeah, let's go. Hey, Cosmo Canyon is near here. How about we all get a hotel for the night?", Cloud questioned.

"Good idea! I mean, I'm beat!", mumbled Barrett.

"Yes! That is a wonderful idea! Grandpa is giving a lecture on astronomy tonight!", smiled Red XIII.

"Lecture? Astronomy? Tonight? Oh, that isn't good!", Cloud muttered under his breath. "Okay Red, why don't you go on ahead and tell 'em we're coming?"

"Right you are, Cloud!", Red XIII shrieked happilly as he bounded off.

"Close call there, Cloud!", whispered Barrett as the party walked off in the opposite direction. "Close call!"
