Zephyr gets the shock of his life when his mom reveals to him that he is a wizard. then Zephyr goes to hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. but can Zephyr keep up. Read and find out. Remember to R&R

Hello World (or at least FanFiction) this is a story I thought of while reading Harry Potter. It's basically the next group of 1st Years Coming in and there journey to there 7th year. I have seen lots of these and I decided to do it. So Enjoy. OR ELSE (just Kidding)

P.S. You will see the main character Zephyr again in another Harry Potter story and in other stories because I can incorporate him into a lot of things. Also this takes place after the war of Hogwarts

Zephyr was a young boy with a life that was almost normal. But Zephyr Though his life was completely normal. But that all that changed one day. It was a completely normal day. The sun was Shining, the birds were chirping, the owl was hooting. Wait, The owl was hooting. That didn't seem right. Zephyr looked out the window. There was an owl perched on their mailbox. Zephyr opened the door to get a closer look when the owl suddenly fluttered onto his shoulder and held out its leg. There was a letter attached to it. Zephyr fumbled with the letter while he tried to detach it from the owl's leg. He walked back inside, the owl still perched on his shoulder hooting dolefully and Zephyr opened the letter. The first page of the letter read:

HOGWARTS SCHOOL

of WITCHCRAFT and WIZARDRY

Headmistress: Minerva McGonagall

Dear Mr. Hilwerda,

We of Hogwarts are pleased to inform that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment. Term begins on September 1. We await you owl no later than July 31.

Headmistress

Zephyr read this several times and then opened the next piece of paper. It read:

HOGWARTS SCHOOL

Of WITCHCRAFT and WIZARDRY

UNIFORM

First-year students will require:

sets of plain work robes (black)

plain pointed hat (black) for day wear

pair of protective gloves (dragon hide or similar)

winter cloak (black with silver fastenings)

Please note that all pupil's clothes should carry name tags.

Again Zephyr read the piece of paper over again. Suddenly his mom entered the room

"what cha got there honey," said Zephyrs mom.

"a letter from a school called Hogwarts," replied Zephyr

"oh," said Zephyr's mom

"what do you mean by "oh"," said Zephyr

"well its hard to explain so ill just come out and say it."

She sighed and said

"you're a wizard."
