Okay, this has become a really bad habit. I'm obsessed with writing peoples dying moments. Creepy huh? Please read and review.

Somewhere Over the Rainbow

Cinna's POV

"I'm still betting on you." I say to the girl who I've helped fly.

I let her olive skinned hand go and the glass tube lowers over the head of the mockingjay. At that moment two men stride into the room, peacekeepers. I glance apprehensively between them and Katniss. It's when my eyes are on the youngest man that he lashes out, nocking me to the floor. I can feel warm blood slowly dripping down my head. I look up, shocked. The next minutes are simple bloody torcher. The older man smiles manically down at me. I notice the difference between them for the first time. While the older man has no scars, and the young one has many, the older man clearly is far weaker than his companion. My eyes seek out Katniss's.

She's flailing as hard as she can against the glass tube, obviously screaming. But the sound proof material of the glass completely blocks out her voice. I know this is because of the interview costume I gave her. I know that I am going to die for that dress.

My eyes fill with tears at the brutality that I am being subjected to, the pain, the sheer fact that I am going to die. I am going to die.

I waver on the brink of unconsciousness and vaguely see Katniss rise up into the arena.

"Finish it, then go back to your patrol." I hear the older man order the other.

"Yes." The other man replies. I hear a door slam as if from far away.

"I'm sorry." The younger man says and then I slip into blackness. But just before I go, I realize something. I don't regret a thing. Because, because of what I have done, somewhere over the rainbow is freedom for the man who didn't want to kill me. somewhere over the rainbow, is freedom for us all.

And there it is! I don't usually write people like Cinna, so tell me what you think! Oh, and sorry that it's really really short.
