A Faction Arises

Master Chief and Arbiter disappeared at the start of the war along with their detachment of soldiers during a battle on a forerunner outpost , decades later the Covenant and U.N.S.C continue the fighting, however a new faction arose from the midst led by humans and covenant? Both now classed as traitors and heretics their goal is to stop the war by any means.

Chapter One: the prologue

Before the great conflict the U.N.S.C began rapid colonization of worlds while stomping out any form of insurrections and rebels that frequently form against the unfairness and laws that seem to only benefit the coffers of those higher in status while limiting colonist of their basic rights.

In the beginning of the war, humanity faltered as the Covenant menace overpowered their forces at space and outnumbered them at ground, conquering and glassing their colonies one by one until they revealed their trump card…the Spartans. And though humanity is still fighting a near impossible battle, with Spartans at their side they stood a chance against the dreaded aliens that threaten their very species. However both sides were unaware of the fact each battle and event was watched and recorded by an advanced forerunner facility in an isolated planet far away from the battle lines. It was constructed prior to events of the halo rings activating to scan and memorize events the virtual intelligence had thought was significant and to hold many other locked technology waiting for the eventual arrival of the reclaimers.

This very facility stored a prototype A.I several times more advance than the human or even the standard monitors stationed in elsewhere….and it was beginning to activate.

In the depths of the facility amidst the patrolling sentinels and computers, a machine whirred to life as its optic blaze with knowledge.
