The Bastard Childs Thoughts
Am I fooling myself into thinking you mean something?
A total stranger of whom I know not one thing?
Aside from your undeserving title as a father?
Because you left me your son and your daughter.
Yet you feel you earn the title of father or dad.
Those thoughts in my mind are kind of sad.
So here I stand trying to get you to understand
That the title of dad means you stay close and near
Not distant and clear
A dad shows up to at least one birthday in his child's life
But to you it's clear its all a lie
