DOUBLE NEGATIVE VISIT

As the space ship was landing, on top of the mesa, the navigator was yelling at the pilot. The pilot never listened to directions or asked for help. He was always landing in the wrong place. And, she was getting tired of correcting his mistakes.

The other 6 aliens on board paid no attention. This was all an old argument to them. They decided to get out and ask the people outside where they were. The side of the ship opened. They descended to the ground and approached the people standing there.

The people started moving back. They were afraid. They saw the ship land. Then they saw shimmering lights appear out of the side. The lights moved toward them. They didn't know what to do. They didn't think of aliens. The aliens at Roswell were not depicted this way. They were sure that they didn't look this way at Area 51. That is if there were aliens there.

Then the lights started to change form. They started to look human. When they asked for directions, no one answered. They didn't respond because they were too afraid.

Finally, one young lady stepped forward to answer them. She told them that they were at the Double Negative in Overton, Nevada. She told them to leave. They didn't want them there. They didn't want the media or sightseers there looking for them. She also continued to add that the people were afraid of them.

The aliens replied that all they wanted was to get directions. Then they would gladly leave. They also did not like the people there. They were ugly and talked funny.

Finally, the navigator and pilot figured out where they were. They called all the aliens back on board. As the aliens started back, the people snapped out of their trance. They started chasing them. The human forms started fading as the lights raced for the ship. The humans stopped again. The lights scared them.

The aliens boarded the ship and lifted off ASAP. They were as afraid of the humans as the humans were afraid of them. If they had gotten to know each other, maybe their fear would have gone. If the pilot had only asked for directions, they might not have gotten lost. But, men never ask.
