I asked Anne to translate this poem to Elvish, so don't compliment me. Thanks Anne (USCwannabe is her ID here ) . Pls review if you like this poem. Pls critic me if you don't like it. You also can request a poem , except for slash thing. I don't hate slash, but I cannot comprehend it, so I cannot write it.

I made this poem when I think what might Aragorn felt when Gandalf fell to the abyss of Moria. They were close friends, and it must hurted him more than to other members of the Fellowship, except Frodo maybe. And then he had to bear the burden as a leader for the Fellowship. Many wrote about Legolas' grief for Gandalf, but none write about Argorn's. so here it is.

Grief

I heard a plea from you

A silent plea to be freed from pain

Pain of sorrow for your friend has gone

But none can quench the pain of a soul

It must exist

Testing and purifying our hearts

Be patient my child

Though now your vision blurred by tears

It were meant for good

For your sorrow only carves your soul

So you might comprehend more joy

Embrace the pain my dear

Do not deny

Pain is part of life

For which corpse shall feel pain

Only us who life through this wounded realm

Will sense the piercing knives of pain

Be ashamed not of your tears

For they show your love and affection

Who will mourn upon an enemy's death?

Will you not laugh at his burial?

Who will not weep at a friend's fall?

Will you not cry at his tomb?

Weep, but despair not

Your friend had rest

With a smile painting on his lips

The peace of death had released him

From the turmoil and hardship of life
