It was July 24th, a hot summer day. I had walked two miles to spend time with the crew. If I only I knew then what I know now. I knocked on Amanda's door to find the five of you gathered around the television watching the tapes we had made. There we were dancing and laughing. Once again we poured the drinks and had a few rounds. What was intended on being a few sips multiplied as the night dragged on. Seth turned on the music as we danced the night away. You twirled me around and around again and again until I could no longer hold myself up anymore. You held me close as you whispered sweet things into my ear. When I was with you I never had to think twice. Some others started to arrive. The word got around about our small get together. We drank and we danced until early hours of the morning. I awoke on your chest only to find a mess and a headache I did not want to have.
Going outside we started running around. It was as if nothing could stop us now.
