Better the 1/52

Disclaimer: DC owns.

The young man (so young and so unfairly betrayed) is much calmer then she thought he would be.

Instead he touched his legs (surprised that they were standing) and was examining his stomach (surprised there was no gaping hole or bite)

He has one question: "Did my actions damn anybody else?"

"Kid, none of it was your fault. You tried your damn best. I say that to even less then one out of people I meet everyday." This is the absolute truth.

She takes his hand and he fades away in peace.

Not much time later, she met his sister.
