Prologue
I, for once, had made a firm decision towards life.
That is to avoid any possible sticky situations. That includes: annoying overly friendly jocks, flirty cheerleaders and of course my one and only nemesis…
My ex-boyfriend…
My beloved ex-vampire lover…
"But avoiding 'him' seems unavoidable…"
Say ex? Yes, his my ex in a lot of things. Bestfriend to boyfriend. A person whom I only had memories of hurting my feelings. Not that he didn't love me, I knew he did. And I loved him too.
But some things are just way too complicated for me to explain. Like the fact that he was an ex-vampire which he hid from me for a long time.
I never knew that vampires existed. I only knew them in books as myths, fairytales something complete irrational and fictitiously out of this world. That is until…I found out about this cold hard truth he was yet to show me.
