Prologue: The Transfer
I got this idea by reading various HSM fanfics and I just had to try it out for myself! So, if anyone wants more, review, please!
"Please come this way, Elizabeth," The principal of East High told new junior, Elizabeth Anne Hall. Elizabeth nodded and followed her brand new principal. After climbing flights and flights of stairs, they finally stopped at Room 46.
"This'll be your first period class, and if you get lost, please ask Mrs. Darbus to show you around." Elizabeth nodded, and knocked on the door. Everyone inside stopped talking and Mrs. Darbus stopped shouting. They all looked at Elizabeth, the New Girl.
"Come in!" Mrs Darbus said impatiently. Elizabeth nodded, and handed Mrs. Darbus her transfer papers.
"Oh, well, Miss Hall, you can sit in that empty seat next to Mr. Troy Bolton," Mrs. Darbus said.
"Okay," Elizabeth answered. "But, er, who is this Troy person?" Troy raised his hand and pointed to the empty seat next to him. She walked over to the seat and wondered what this class was about, anyway. She looked down at her schedule. Apparently, she had PE next. She tapped Troy on the shoulder.
"What?" He whispered.
"Does this school have a basketball team?" She asked. Troy nodded, but then said, "Yeah, but there's no girls' team…"
"That's okay. I read the East High rulebook and apparently it said a girl could try out if she got both of the principal and the couch to agree," Elizabeth replied. Troy nodded and went back to the lesson.
