Just a short bit of writing for Konan-sama. Yeah, I guess sort for valentines day cause I don't have anything else to do. And for Konan's birthday I hope to have something better written up.
Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto. Go figure.
Song: Carnival of Rust:;:Poets of the Fall
D' you breathe the name of your savior in your hour of need,
Don't walk away, don't walk away, oh, when the world is burning
The woman's eyes were staring out the window next to her bed, it was late. She was supposed to be asleep, but that was something that never seemed to come to her. Not easily at least. Her eyes were glassy, they reflected the lights of the city. The sky was shadowed by rain clouds, as it always was. She sighed a bit as she curled underneath the blankets a shiver passing through her as she tried to sleep yet again. It was hopeless, if she allowed her body to dream it would be a nightmare, if she stayed awake she could keep them away. She lay there for a while, like she did every night. Like all other nights she finally sat up and she walked over to the window and sat herself down the edge of it and she looked out the window at the rain as it fell from the sky. Konan supposed there was something beautiful about it. Something ironic, God controlled the rain, but his angel couldn't survive in it. Sad really.
The blue haired woman had her hands folded neatly in her lap as she sat still in her chair as she was told to. She always did what she was told to do, that was who she was. She hated to be a bother, but when she was ordered to do something she would push someone until they broke and she got what was requested. She supposed that was why she managed to stay beside Pein's side all these years. Sometimes she wondered why she stayed with him, the answer in all honesty would be that he was her only friend. The only one she would trust with her life. She hoped he would to, but she would never know.
She sighed a bit as she sat in front of the vanity table in her room. Her legs were folded beneath her as she slowly and methodically applied her make up. She swept blue over her eyelids and she pulled her purple-blue hair back into a loose bun on the side of her head. Her fingers pulled a piece of paper from the pile she had on the vanity. She glanced at herself in the mirror before she went about folding the origami flower. It was so simple to her, she had been folding the same flower for years. Everyday she needed a new one. A small smile graced her lips as she thought of that. A new flower every day, because everyday by the end of it, the delicate flower would managed to become dirty and crushed. Very much like her...She pushed that thought away. She let a small chuckle come from her throat as she thought of this. Soon the paper flower was done and she sat up straight pushing it into her hair and she looked at herself before she felt around the small box on the vanity for her labret and she pushed it into place and she nodded to herself not particularly wanting to see her reflection anymore.
Her slim body shivered a bit when her feet hit the stone cold floor, she muttered softly to herself. It was always cold here, or so it seemed. She sat down on her bed and she carefully pulled her shoes on and she zipped them up before she stood and she smoothed out her clothing. She glanced one last time at herself in the mirror before averting her gaze to the ground as she left her room to go do the bidding of her God.
Yeah, feed the rain
'cause without your love
my life ain't nothing but this
Carnival or Rust
