-Just So You Know-
You know where you are; you're lying on your un-made bed, running your un-washed fingers through your un-brushed hair. You know you're looking for something to fill his vacant space.
You know how you feel; you feel abandoned and alone. You feel like you meant absolutely nothing to him. You feel like you're about to cry, but you can't. You've been crying since the he left. Leaving you like you were a broken, used-up toy.
You know you want to; you want to find him, hug him, kiss him, and making him feel loved and wanted. You also want to strangle him, squeeze his throat until he shrivels up and utters I'm so sorry in his very last, dying breath.
But here is what you don't know: he is somewhere in the city. Just like he wanted. He is cold and upset with his head in his knees and he crying too. Crying because he regrets not taking you along on the wild ride that is now his life. You don't know that he didn't leave because of you. He left because he was stupid and selfish and ignorant. And what you really don't know, is that right now, he is missing you just as much as you are missing him.
So just so you know, he didn't mean to make you feel like this. Alone. So know this Matt, he still loves you especially today. Happy Valentine's Day, without him.
