What if Sarah didn't die
The smoke was getting thick, the heat was unbearable,but Sarah was determined to find the cheetah.
"JANA" she called "JANA WHERE ARE YOU?" she called out as she fought her way through the bush fire as her husband,Danny went looking for her.
"SARAH" he shouted "SARAH."
"DANNY, DAAAAAAAANY WHERE ARE YOU?" she called out. There was still no sigh of the cheetah and the heat was getting stronger. It was then when a wall of flames stopped Sarah in her tracks and she grew scared.
"DANNY" she screamed "DANNY." She felt a tug on her wrist and she turned around to see Danny holding onto her wrist.
"Come on Sarah, we need to get out of here quickly" he yelled.
"But what about Jana, we need to find her" Sarah yelled.
"Come on, we need to get out of here now." Before Sarah could object,Danny was dragging her through the bush and she francticly called for Jana.
Back at leopard's den, the family were waiting for Sarah and Danny to get back. Olivia was waiting francticly by the window.
"Where are they?" she asked in a panicky voice "it's getting dark."
"Shut up Olivia" her brother Evan snapped "I'm sure mum and dad will be ok."
"But what if something bad has happened" Olivia barked, her eyes filling with tears "what if they couldn't get out of the bush fire."
"Don't say things like that" Evan barked "that won't happen." Just then, the front door opened and Danny came walking in followed by a dirt streaked Sarah.
"MUM" Evan and Olivia screamed, running towards her and hugging onto her.
"We thought you were dead, we thought you couldn't get out of the fire" Olivia sobbed.
"It's ok, Danny saved me" Sarah replied. Caroline was relieved that her Daughter was ok and Rosie was relieved also.
"Where's Jana?" Olivia sniffed "where is she?."
"I couldn't find her" Sarah confessed "I couldn't find her." Olivia then expected the worse.
"She isn't dead is she?" the girl sobbed "please don't say she's dead." Sarah put an arm around her Daughter and reassured her that Jana will be ok.
"Were you scared?" Olivia asked, silent tears falling down her face as Sarah gently wiped them away.
"Yes, I thought I wasn't going to get out of there,but Danny was there and he saved my life" Sarah replied. Olivia ran towards Danny and flung her arms around him.
"I love you Danny" she said.
"I love you too Olivia" Danny replied hugging her also. Sarah, Rosie and Evan even joined in with the hug. They were all greatfull that Danny had saved Sarah's life. Unfortunatly, the happy moment was interrupted by some bad news.
"I've just found Jana near the bush were the fire was" Du Plessis informed them.
"Is she ok?" Danny asked.
"I'm afraid it's not good,you'll need to take a look at her and fast" Du Plessis replied "she's barely alive and I don't think she'll be able to hang on for much longer." Olivia gasped and tears began filling her eyes,Rosie was sniffling, Evan stormed out of the room and Sarah had her face buried in her hands. Sobbing, Olivia walked towards Danny.
"You will be able to save her, won't you?" she asked, tears spilling down her face. Danny stroked the back of her head and gave her a reassuring,but uneasy smile.
"I'll try my best Olivia, I promise" he reassured,but deep down, he wasn't too sure. Olivia nodded and went to sit with Sarah who was crying into her hands.
"Come on Danny" said Du Plessis "we've got a cheetah's lie to save."
