The Giant Flying Metal Demon That Ate Kagome (did that give away to much? nah!)

"Haroo Kagome!"

"Konnichi wa!" Kagome greeted her mother as she entered the kitchen. She was accully in a good mood for once after leaving the fudeal era because this time it wasn't for a test or because she was fighting with inuyasha. She just needed to grab a couple things...

"Run upstairs and grab the bag on your bed, hachimitsu," her mother answered "I'm so glad you made it back in time! I thought you were going to miss the plane!"

"Plane?" a shocked kagome asked.

"koko," Kagome's little brother, souta, dropped a large duffle bag in the doorway.

"Arigatoo Souta!" said Kagome's mother, then, turning to Kagome, she said "You're going to a small village in Kanada!" ((that is the accual japanese translation for Canada)) "Your marks got so low that the only way for you to graduate is if you become a forin exchange student! Isn't that great?"

"IIE!" exclaimed Kagome "I can't leave! I tol InuYasha I would be back soon!!!"

"No time to waste!" Kagome's mom grabbed the bag and headed out the door, yelling over her shoulder "Hayaku!"

"Sayo nara one-sama!" Souta yelled as Kagome raced from the house.

"Souta! Tell InuYasha I'll be back in a month!" Kagome yelled back as soon as she got the information as she got into the car.

After all, school was more important then the fudeal era... right?

InuYasha walked out of Kagome's family shrine to see Souta playing with buyo, Kagome's neko.

"Oi! Ko!" InuYasha called "Where's Kagome?"

Souta rushed up to his hero. "Haroo InuYasha!!! Kagome's just leaving for Canada!" he pointed to the leaving metal demon Kagome called a 'car'. Souta continued "She'll be back in one month! Want to play with me?"

"Iie," inuaysha said as he started to chase after the 'car' "Arigatoo kid!"

"Ja mata InuYasha!!!"

InuYasha followed the metal demon through armies of other metal demons until it came to a stop in a group of MORE metal demons in front of a large, castle like hut.

He watched as his miko and he mother walked from the hord of metal demons and into the large hut.

InuYasha followed.

What was this 'kanada' souta spoke of anyway?

Oh no!

Was Kagome being eaten by that huge metal demon?!

InuYasha rushed outside and jumped into a lagra wound in the metal demon with lagre wings that bags were being thrown into.

All of the sudden, the wound CLOSED behing InuYasha!

Not knowing what was happening, inuaysa sat down. He saw the wings. If he attacked he would likely hurt kagome and fall from the sky.

Maybe this was like the other metal demons in this era. Maybe it would spit him and kagome out, as he'd seen it done to humans before it ate kagome.

It was going to be a LONG trip.
