Disclaimer: I don't own Digimon, and if I did do you think I would be
writing this?
This was an idea that was stuck in the back of my head, and so I dug it
out and decided to write the story. There is Taiora but it's at the way end.
The Day we First Met
Tai's POV……
Taichi
Kamiya sighed and ran into the park at top speed. He couldn't wait to get outside so he could play with his
friends! It was a bright, sunny day and
everyone was outside playing in the warm sun, everyone except one little
girl. She sat all alone underneath an
old oak tree in the park. When Taichi
saw her he slowed down. She faintly
reminded him of his sister, Kari. He
decided that he would go over and meet, this girl that he didn't know.
"Hi! My names
Taichi Kamiya, but you can call me Tai!"
The girl looked up startled, and Tai saw that her amber eyes were full of
unshed tears. Her mouth seemed to be
permanently stuck in a frown, and her short reddish brown hair was in a mess. And a funny blue helmet was by her
side. All of a sudden she started to
speak in a quivering voice, "Tai, that's a nice name, I'm Sora Tak-Takenouchi."
As Sora said
Takenouchi, a tear dropped down her cheek, and she angrily wiped it away.
"Why are you sitting all alone here by yourself?"
"Because I
don't feel like playing much. I'm too sad."
"Why are you
sad?"
"Because my
D-daddy left y-yesterday, a-and I'll never get too see him again! :sniff: I
didn't even get to say "I love you" to him."
Sora's tears
spilled over and Tai didn't know what to do, so he hugged Sora like he did with
Kari when she was sad.
"All I have
left is his blue helmet that he used to wear all the time before one of his
soccer games, he always said that it was for good-luck."
Sora tried to
smile but instead she just burst out in tears again. Tai realized that this Sora Takenouchi's father must of died so
he felt very sorry for the poor girl and let her cry.
"Sora, would
you like to meet my Dad, and maybe he could be your second father!"
Sora sniffled,
but she stopped crying.
"Really?"
"Really. Come
on, my dad's probably home right now!"
Tai grabbed her
hand, waited for her to pick up her helmet, and then they both ran into Tai's
apartment.
"Mom! Dad! I
want you to meet a friend of mine! Her
name is Sora!"
His mom and dad
walked in to meet his new friend. When they both saw her, they instantly felt
sorry for her, even though they didn't know why.
"Her dad died,
so I thought that Dad could be her second dad!"
At first Mr.
Kamiya was shocked but then he looked at her sad amber eyes, and found a soft
spot in his heart.
"Of
course, Sora. Come here with Tai, so I
can get to know you better."
Then
to Tai's surprise, Sora smiled her first real smile and ran to give Mr. Kamiya
a huge bear hug! Laughing Mr. Kamiya
hugged her back, and plopped the helmet on her head. It slipped over her eyes and made her look really funny, but Tai
didn't laugh. Looking over at Tai, Sora
mouthed "Thank You" and he mouthed "Your Welcome" right back.
Tai smiled as
his memories. He had been so young! Only about 7 years old! He couldn't have known that 3 years later he
would be in the digiworld, and 3 years after that he would actually have the
girl of his dreams.
"Tai what are
you thinking about that makes you smile so?" Tai turned around when he heard
the sweet voice that could only belong to one person.
"Oh just the
day that we first met 6 years ago." Sora smiled one of her beautiful smiles,
and came over to peck him on the cheek, but he turned her head, and they shared
a long, sweet kiss.
