Author's Note!: So I've kinda got a thing going here where some chapters will be unrelated oneshots and some will be a few chapters..
This will be around 4 chapters if I get it right. Enjoy! 3

He had finally had enough, and it was starting to show. J.D didn't think he had gone one day without a patient coding for two weeks. Many questions were swirling around his mind as he stood on the roof of Sacred Heart hospital.

What do I do, who do I talk to, and how the hell am I supposed to go on like this?

He thought he heard a noise like the door opening, but paid it no mind. Whoever came through that door probably just wanted to give him pity, or just didn't give a rats ass- and to be honest, we would prefer the latter.

"Heyyyy Newbie-" Oh no, he was not in the mood for this-"you do know that there are patients that you have to, oh I don't know, keep alive downstairs." J.D mumbled in response to his "mentor's" sarcastic comment.

"Excahhhuse me Virginia, what was that?" J.D gave up the fight, turning around to face his certain doom... . He thought he saw a flicker or worry in Perry's eyes as he looked at him, but quickly dismissed the idea to not eating well enough.

"Well?" The young doctor questioned, watching as Perry's eyebrows almost shot up to his hairline. "Aren't you gonna rant at me, tell me I'm not gonna make it as a doctor- and call me yet another girls name?" just took a step closer to him and said, "Well Petunia," (spitting the girl's name out like it was foul) " I heard from Carla about how your past few weeks have been pretty rough, soooooo, I was GOING to let you have the rest of the day and tomorrow off- but since you're in such a cheery mood I think I'll let you stay." J.D was getting angrier and angrier by the second listening to him. "Enough." He finally said in a small but stern voice.

In all of the 5 years he's worked with Newbie, he's never seen the kid be so brave. It infuriated him. He studied the brunette, his eyes had no spark, his hair was almost flat on his forehead (he knew Newbie hated that from some of the kid's finest ramblings) and his jaw was set. His Newbie was in serious trouble- but, being the sarcastic bastard that he was, had to keep on talking, ignoring the kid's statement. "Enough? What exactly does that even mean Newbie? I mean, there are ways to shut me up- and I hate to break it to you, but that's not one of them." Perry just couldn't stop, even as he watched him get angrier and angrier, he kept on talking.

"For instance there's the yelling option, that might get me to be quiet- but since you're a girl I gues-" His rant was interrupted by the unexpected meeting of Newbie's fist to his face, sending him to the concrete below his feet.

"Go to hell." Were J.D's parting words as he left him on the roof, slamming the door behind him.
