I got the idea for this after I read the first dream scene in 'Tempted' written in five minutes so its not brilliant.

No words can describe how I felt when she threw herself off the castle roof. I was helpless as my A-ya left me again- this time of her own free will.
"Zoey!" my voice almost broke as I called her name, over her screams; my mind called after her too. 'A-ya!'

I knelt at the spot that she'd leapt from; tears falling from my eyes for the first time in more years that even I care to think of.
Why had I threatened her and scolded her for a natural reaction. Neferet- the Tsi Sgili. I understand the jealousy- A-ya was created to love me; be at my side.

Next time we shared a dream; if we shared another dream; I would show her my past. I would make her understand.
