If you encounter a law enforcement officer, remain calm. It is extremely unlikely that the officer is aware of your many illegal doings. Simply provide a false name and try not to attract undue attention. Drabble for Spontaneity's Hunter Encyclopedia.

Laws are probably for the best. People can be mean SOBs.

But we've got lives to save, and laws are always gettin' in our way. We need access to murder sites, to graves, to people's houses when they're in trouble. We need 411 from files we ain't supposed to see. And we gotta eat.

Generally, law enforcement officers are like blind people who elbow you outta the way so they can molest your favorite jigsaw puzzle. Just work around 'em as much as you can, keep an eye on their weapon, and when in doubt, pretend you're one of 'em.
