Hey guys here is my new story.
Baird just sat there staring at the dead COG who was assisting him on his Patrol.
His vision was getting blurry and it was getting harder to breath. "Baird!" He heard his name being called "Baird where in the frakking hell are you."
He tried to get up but fell back down again. "Oh god, Baird,!" he looked up "Hey."
"Baird why didn't you call us to come help you, WHY." He looked back down. "Because…" He really didn't know why. He started to shut his eyes.
"Baird stay with me now." He slowly opened his eyes. Baird whispered " I suppose this is the part I should tell you i`ve always loved you and I do I really really do.
She was speechless. "Uh…w-w-w-what did you just say?" Baird looked at her. " U." Her eyes grew wide "I love you too." She grabbed his cheek and kissed him.
She didn't care about the coppery taste of his blood, she loved him. "I never thought YOU would be my first kiss." Sam softly laughed "I never thought id be kissing you." Baird looked at her "Hey what can I say Chicks dig the Baird." They both chuckled softly."
"Come on Damon, I`m not leaving you here to die." Sam picked him up and carried him to the King Raven. " Hurry we are running out of time!" the pilot yelled.
"Give me a minute will you." "Sam please just…ugh… leave me here please." NO WAY DAMON, not without you." Baird looked back at all the bodies. 'Damn. Can`t save them all.' "Baird I need you to stay with me." Then it all went black.

Sam took off her COG tags and put them on Baird`s Headstone
