A/N: Um, hi. This is just a short one-shot kinda showing Johnny's feelings during his sister's 'death' in the new movie. Personally I thought they focused a bit too much on Reed and not quite enough on Johnny so I just wanted to write and try to portray his thoughts as well as I could. This is my first F4 FF so go easy on me lol. Constructive criticism is appreciated.

Disclaimer: The Fantastic Four characters belong to Marvel and whoever else helped create them. I'm just borrowing them for a bit. So please don't sue me.

Susan Storm fell to the ground, a metal pole sticking through her chest and a shocked look across her beautiful face. Reed Richards yelled out as his fiancée fell, tears streaming down his cheeks. Ben Grimm also ran over, his rocky face twisted in surprise. Reed pulled Sue into his lap, stroking her blonde hair away from her face. He felt a wave of heat as his soon to be brother-in-law landed behind him.

Johnny Storm slowly descended to the ground, flaming off as he landed. When he looked at his sister his heart nearly stopped. "Oh my God," He whispered. "Sue…" Then Johnny snapped out of his staggered state and adrenaline took over. He ran as fast as he could, trying to reach his sister.

Before he could get too close, Ben stopped him. "Johnny! Don't touch her!"

Johnny froze and he resisted the overwhelming urge to scream at him. Don't touch her? She was his sister! When their mother died, she became his protector, his hero. And heroes weren't supposed to die. Yet there she was, lying in Reed's arms, her breath shallow and her body weak.

And then, for the first time in years, Johnny felt real tears come to his eyes and fear grip his heart. His sister was dying, and there wasn't a damn thing he could do about it.

He did his best to push his pain aside, there were more pressing matters at the time, but he couldn't completely ignore it and he constantly had to keep his voice from breaking as he discussed the plan with Ben and Reed.

"It's going to take all of us." He heard Reed say and for a moment, Johnny lost all hope, but then he had an idea, an idea which was both amazingly good and selfless. He could stop Doom.

"Or maybe," Johnny began "just one of us."

Reed looked up at him confused for a moment, but then realization took over his face. "Johnny, we don't know what that could do to you."

He was right, of course, but it didn't matter. This wasn't about him; it was about the entire world. And Sue, he couldn't do anything to save her, but he wanted to at least give her one last reason to be proud of him.

"Hey," he said without missing a beat "let's not make this about me." Then he joined hands with his 'family' and taking one last look at Sue, he 'flamed on' and flew off to save the world.

A/N: Eh, not my best. But anyway, thank you for reading and please take the time to review. The lines from the movie are just from my memory, so they're probably not very accurate.
