The True Revenge
I looked up horrified, staring at Naruto. His body was hanged and brutally mangled. With amazing speed I yanked a kunai out of my bag and cut him down from the rope that held him. Someone had beaten him up fiercely. Sprinting as fast as I could I carried him to the Hokage's rooms. Banging on the door I screamed for her to come out. When she finally opened the door she looked ready to murder me. She stopped in her tracts the moment she saw Naruto. I told her where I had found him and the horrible way he had been displayed. Screaming curses she called for a team of medics and shoved me out of the room. Hours passed, and the rest of the gennien teams arrived. Finally she emerged from the room, tears streaming down her face. He was dead she told us. She could do nothing else for him.
Looking over at everyone else, I saw that they, like our Hokage were crying. I was to shocked to cry, Naruto couldn't be dead. He was practically unkillable. I looked past Tsunade as she explained to everyone what had happened and how I had found him. They asked her the same question I had asked him not to long ago. Why would anyone want to hurt him? I knew, for he had told me he was the carrier of the Kyuubi, and the villagers hated him for it.
Later in the day Tsunade informed the village of Naruto's death. Very few were sad, and for the first time you could really see how much the village hated the blond. Many cheers were heard and for the rest of the night you could hear villagers celebrating. I was beyond furious. Right there, as I stod behind the Hokage as she told the village of the horrible fate that had awaited Naruto, I made up my mind. I would get my revenge, but to for my clan, not yet. First I would avenge my only true friend, the only person who I had ever, loved.
That night 5 figures were spotted exiting the village. Orochimaru's henchmen had come and I was leaving with them. About a mile out I turned back towards the village.
"I will avenge you Naruto. I will never for get you. I love you Baka. Believe it."
As I turned away from the village I could have sworn that I saw a flash of golden hair and a huge fox-like grin as I heard Naruto's voice call out faintly.
"Give 'em hell Teme."
