Dear Father,

I have done as you asked and requested forgiveness from the team members at NCIS.

Unfortunately it seems that these Americans are a lot less forgiving than we had expected given the extremely slack standards to which they apply. Military discipline, as a concept, seems to escape them. As you indicated that you wish me continue my association with NCIS I will, as you have requested, apply for status as a permanent member of NCIS. I expect that Gibbs will demand that I resign from Mossad, as though he believes that I would truly do so. However, if it is necessary that I appear to be no longer associated with Mossad I will inform you of said.

To ensure that my application is accepted, and thank you father for suggesting this path, I have already approached Agent Gibbs and laid in the ground work, alluding to the fact that I saw him as the closest thing to a Father I had left. These Americans can be so easily led by a few tears.

Agent DiNozzo is proving to be a harder date to peel. I may need to play the damsel in distress, and yes Father, you were right, knocking him down and accusing him of Michael's killing appears to have backfired. However, DiNozzo is a mindless lothario and a few deep breaths in his direction should engage his sexual desire for me once again.

The biggest challenge at the moment seems to be the medical examiner. Vance is behaving almost as though you had written the script for him but Dr. Mallard keeps insisting that I talk about my ordeal. Unfortunately he is far wilier that we were originally led to believe and any inconsistencies in my tale will be reported to Gibbs. So far, Gibbs has been assuring the ME that I will talk when I am ready but in the meantime could you please, Father, have a rape victim interrogated so that I can prepare my answers accordingly.

Yours,

Ziva
