Blood.

Screaming.

Pleading.

Waiting for it all too just stop because you're tired of playing his games.

-

Hot.

Wet.

Sticky.

Vomit covers the sidewalk and you never get to see the face of the one who picked you up and carried you home. However, you couldn't help but notice how overwhelmingly familiar their presence was.

-

You don't say anything when you see Dai. You can't. You just walk up to him, smiling.

He sidesteps you and you pride yourself in the look of surprise on his face when you land the punch. His face is angry, but again, you say nothing as you just keep on smiling.

"Bastard," Dai smirks, going in for his own hit. You barely manage to duck as you spin on your heel and take off, running as hard and as fast as you possibly can, the harsh sounds of Dai's shoes let you know he's following.

The two of you weave between the other students and out the front gate of the school. You manage to avoid the cars as you run into the street, laughing to yourself every time you see Dai's bloodthirsty reflection.

And then it happens.

You turn the corner and then your whole body feels like it's on fire and through the explosion of pain; you could've sworn that you'd heard Dai's voice.

"Jaehee!" Dai's face is suddenly there, screaming, the scent of chocolate on his breath. But then that comforting smell is gone and a wave of sadness overcomes you.

-

"Late breaking news, a teenager has been taken into custody for a vicious assault on an older man. Witnesses say that the teen attacked a man parked at an intersection, apparently without motive. The driver is now in critical condition. No names have been released at this time. More tonight at eight."

You smile from the hospital bed, laugh out loud because of the insanity of certain news reporters who feel the need to make it seem as if all teenagers are out of crontrol. You find it ironic how the only time Dai is caught, it's because he refused to leave your side when the paramedics arrived.

Dai had beat the shit out of the middle-aged guy who had almost killed you and then had returned to your broken body, talking softly and whispering things that you could hear but couldn't quite make out. He had held your hand and wiped your hair away from forehead.

So you close your eyes and go to sleep, hoping that you'll dream about Dai.
