The Magical Fire
Once there was a caterpillar named Choji . Choji was socially awkward. He was at the young age that making friends was very important. His mother ached for him to get out of the house, but because he had no one to play with on the playground, he became a couch potato. Choji's couch potato behavior led to his obesity and diabetes.
Finally, worried for his health, Choji's mother threw Choji out the door and locked it. As Choji cried hysterically, begging his mother to let him in, she reasoned that the door would stay locked until he exercised for at least five hours.
When he saw that his mother would not be defied, he solemnly slinked off to the playground, where the heat was excruciating. Choji felt as if he stood no chance against the great outdoors, and he lay down on the park bench and wept.
Little Shikamaru the stink beetle watched silently from the other side of the playground as Choji cried into his hands. Shikamaru's heart ached for Choji, and he scurried over to ask what the problem was.
Ino the butterfly noticed the scene from on top of the slide, where she was having target practice with her pebble shooter. She decided she felt bad for the poor, fat boy and started to come down to help.
At the same time Ino and Shikamaru began walking towards the crying boy, Naruto the firefly became aware of the scene. Naruto was curious of the crying boy, and being the detective he was, decided to investigate.
Suddenly a lightning bolt flashed from the darkened sky, setting the ground ablaze. The fire formed a thick wall in-between Choji and the other bugs. Being the very flammable caterpillar that he was, Choji immediately caught on fire and died, much to the horror of the other bug children.
As suddenly as it had appeared, the fire vanished, leaving three perplexed bugs in its wake. Looking around Ino, Shikamaru, and Naruto realized that there was nothing they could do, and they all turned around to go home.
"Wait!," exclaimed Shikamaru, "My mother made some cookies earlier, would you guys like to come over and eat them with me?"
"Sounds good," Ino replied, shrugging her shoulders.
"I love cookies!" yelled Naruto.
And the three bugs happily skipped off to Shikamaru's house, never looking back again.
