Too little too -
Harry stared shocked at the audacity of Lupin, Mr Weasley and Moody as they approached uncle Vernon to 'speak to him', in other words threaten him about the treatment that Harry would likely suffer through.
Anger coursed through his veins. 'Now, now they care!'
Moving before he could stop himself, Harry stood in front of his Uncle, the man that had been abusive to him, his whole life.
Moody, Lupin and Mr Weasley stepped back, creating an acceptable distance between Harry and his relatives.
"Now you care?! Now it's appropriate to say something? Now you want me to be treated better? Now!" Harry hissed out, furious beyond all belief, aware that people were already staring, Harry kept his voice low.
"None of you seemed to give a flying fuck when I slept in the cupboard under the stairs for 11yrs! None of you cared when I entered the Wizarding World underfed and dressed in rags! None of you said anything when Ron and the Twins rescued me when I was locked in my room and being starved with the bonus of having bars on my Windows, so I couldn't tell anyone. None of you cared enough about me to tell me the truth about Sirius! None of you said anything to me when I witnessed Cedric die! but now, now you get off your asses and say something! NOW!"
Harry's eyes were wild with anger.
Moody was the only one who didn't shrink back but all three of the grown men looked away from Harry's blazing green eyes in shame.
Lupin cleared his throat and prepared himself to say something but Harry who was too worked up to listen, dismissed Lupin instead.
"Shove whatever you were going to say up your arse Lupin! I don't want to hear your pathetic excuses!"
With that Harry turned and walked away.
The Dursely's collected themselves and although Petunia was horrified to have the treatment of her nephew broadcasted she hoped that no one normal had heard it, still holding her head high, she placed a hand on her son's shoulder and one on her husbands back and walked out of the entrance with Harry following close by.
