Alternate scene from Thor movie. While searching for Thor, Sif and the Warriors Three seperate to find him faster. Sif finds an opportunity to mock her favorite son of Odin(but, to be honest, she doesn't like Odin's other son at all). I also don't own any of the mentioned characters.

The light from the Bifrost faded and the four began looking around. Hogun began walking.

"We'll have to look for tracks to see which way he might have gone when he arrived" Fandral was the first to speak.

"Any tracks will be gone but our tracking skills may still offer some hint of his direction" replied Volstagg.

"Perhaps we should just follow Hogun who is headed toward that settlement" said Sif, rollng her eyes.

The three of them did fall in and hurry to catch the silent Hogun.

After walking the short distance and making small talk(except for Hogun) along the way, the four of them arrived and began drawing attention. The people stopped, looked and avoided them.

"How might we find him here and perhaps we can find a pub as well" wondered Volstagg.

"We will certainlty find him faster if we seperate and search opposite sides of this village. Hogun and I will go this way and you and Fandral should search that side" replied Sif.

The rest nodded and the four of them seperated to start the search.

Hogun and Sif located Thor in what appeared to be a dining hall, serving food to three mortals who sat at a table.

"Hogun, I will keep on eye on him. Go find the others and bring them here as quickly as our volumous friend can manage to move".

Hogun grunted in amusement over her friendly jab at Volstagg and nodded. Of course, Sif would choose to keep an eye on Thor, because in his opinion and aside from fighting and sparring, Thor watching was her favorite activity. Not that he would ever say so if Sif could hear him. Through sparring, he was acquainted with the blunt parts of her blade(and occasionally her fist) so he had no wish to meet the sharper side. Plus, she would just waste everyone's time denying it anyway.

After Hogun departed in search of Fandral and Volstagg, Sif slipped quietly into the room where the mortals were seated and Thor had his back turned to the door.

"I do not possess the gifts of far-seeing Heimdall, so surely mine eyes must deceive me. Is the first-born of Odin now reduced to the role of scullery-maiden"

The room went quiet. The seated mortals turned to look at her, their mouths hanging slightly open. Thor did likewise before a large smile appeared on his face.

"Sif, my friend. What has brought you to Midgard"

"You would speak as though we are familiar. I know not any scullery-maidens. What might your name be, kitchen dweller"

"Sif, you know full well it is I, Thor"

"A clever disguise, no doubt. It seems, however, that you are a servant of these mortals, so perhaps I should bargain with them for your freedom in hopes that you could lead me to finding the Odin-Son"

Thor was about to respond when the door opened loudly and the Warriors Three entered. Volstagg and Fandral moving to embrace their friend and, unknowingly, spare him any more of Sif's good natured ribbing.
