It had been a long day for Olivia, she had spent most of the day sitting in a court room with the parents of a recent rape and murder victim. It was touch and go for a while, the perp nearly got off on a technicality but A.D.A Alexandra Cabot made sure the bastard went down for life. Olivia had a day off but went along to support the victim's parents, they were such a lovely couple who had just lost their only daughter. After Olivia had said goodbye to the victims parents on the courthouse steps she felt a tap on her shoulder and turned around to see the blonde A.D.A behind her. "Hey Olivia, that was nice of you to be there to support the vic's parents" said Alex. "Awh, I felt so sorry for them, it's like their whole world has come to an end. At least the perp is locked up for life, that's some comfort to them. Well done by the way, you rocked in that courtroom" Olivia replied. Alex's cheeks turned a deep shade of red "Just doing my job. Um, Olivia, would you like to join me for some food and a few drinks in the bar down the road? I hate going straight home after such a difficult case". Now it was Olivia's turn to blush she wants to have drinks with me "Sure Alex, I understand what you mean it's hard to go home to a quiet surrounding after a hard day".
The two women were quiet on the short walk to the bar. They were both wrapped up in their own thoughts.
Alex: Omg I can't believe I just asked her to come for food and drinks with me and she accepted.
Olivia: I'm going for food and drinks with Alex Cabot! Wait until I tell El about this.
When they arrive at the bar they are led to the only available table, in the far back corner. The waiter takes their drinks orders and hands them the food menus. After looking through her menu Olivia looks up at Alex "MMmm the food all sounds so nice. Any recommendations?" Alex reads her menu for a moment "To be honest with you I have only ever had the Seafood Linguine and I have been here probably 50 times. I am very easily addicted to things, if you know what I mean." Olivia knows exactly what she means "Yeah I can be like that too" My addiction is you.
