Harry checked his coat pocket again, more nervous than he'd ever been before. The ring was still there, just as it had been the six previous times he'd checked.

He couldn't believe he was actually going to propose to her tonight, it seemed like the end of an era. Everyone knew they would end up married some day, but they'd been dating for six years now and finally he was going to pop the question.

After a nice dinner at their favorite restaurant Harry decided it was time. He got down on one knee in front of her and asked, "Ginny will you make me the happiest man in the world and be my wife?"

"Absolutely Harry," she cried as the rest of the restaurant erupted in applause.

"I guess this is the end of our dating relationship," he joked nervously.

"No, Harry, it's just the beginning," Ginny reassured him.

Harry gazed down at his squirming new born daughter. She was more beautiful than he ever could have imagined and he loved her immediately. But he couldn't help feeling as though this was the end of his life with Ginny. So many of his friends had had children and then their lives went down the tubes.

"I guess this is the end of it just being us, huh?" he asked his exhausted wife.

"No Harry, it's just the beginning," she smiled.

He knew she was right; this really was just the beginning of the rest of their lives.
