This is the first one shot and Fairy Tail work I have ever written so...yeah, it sucks. But bear with it. I wrote this for the reason of me being an avid fan of this pairing and having noticed of the scarce fanfictions for them. Seriously people, who could deny that they are a cute couple?
Anyway, it's incredibly short, so I'm sorry for that.
She had said that she wanted to go to Edolas because they had said the Gray in that world had liked her. And she was not about to deny this—after all, it was true.
Though the others did not know did not know the full reason.
Her nakamas knew—heck, anybody with eyes would know—that Juvia has a little crush with a certain Ice Mage…
…and that line was sure to be the biggest understatement of the century.
But, as she glanced at his lean figure across the room; as his face split into a wide grin when he caught sight of any Fairy Tail members (yes, even Natsu) then she would—absolutely, positively, most certainly—know. That this desire to go to Edolas was not something as shallow as the others might think of her infatuation with Gray.
No, it was that little—desperate—hope that maybe, just maybe, that the Gray in the other world would glance at her way and show her a smile that was reserved just for her.
Because she now realized she does truly love him.
And that the awareness of him not feeling the same way…stops the smooth pitter-patter of her heart.
It sucks, I know. Though, I am open to constructive criticism...
