A/n: Okay so, please tell me how I did. Please. I thought I did awful, but I promised myself whatever I write, I would upload…and also my editing thing isn't working…so if it's really messed up, bear with me. I basically own NOTHING. That is all.
I remember black skies, the lightning all around me….
A dream, this all felt like a dream to Percy Jackson, or at least he thinks that's what his name is.
No one is really sure.
I remembered each flash as time began to blur…
Like a startling sign that fate had finally found me…
The only memories he has every since he has woken up at this strange camp is a war, a Titan war, a prophecy that was fulfilled…
And your voice was all I heard, that I get what I deserve…
And a vision of a pretty blonde girl with stormy grey eyes.
So give me reason, to prove me wrong, to wash this memory clean…
All the people at this Roman camp told Percy to forget the memories, that they mean nothing.
But he doesn't, he has a feeling he shouldn't.
Let the floods cross the distance in your eyes…
If only he could figure out whom the blonde girl was. He knows she means something.
Give me reason, to fill this whole, connect the space between, let it be enough to reach the truth that lies across this new divide.
There was nothing in sight, but memories left abandoned. There was nowhere to hide, the ashes felt like snow.
A horn sounded. The Roman camp had company. Percy ran to the cliff that over looked the ocean. A huge ship, with a dragon head mast was on the horizon.
And the ground caved in, between where we were standing. And your voice was all I heard, that I get what I deserved.
Soon, the Roman campers had the boat surrounded. The Greeks, as Lupa said they were, walked out peacefully enough. Ever camper was still on defense, except for Percy, who felt he should be completely comfortable with these people.
So give me reason, to prove me wrong, to wash this memory clean, let the floods cross the distance in your eyes, across this new divide.
As soon as she stepped of the ship, Percy's eyes never left her face. The girl from his memories.
In every loss, in every lie, in every truth that you deny.
The blonde girl left her companions and walked towards him. Percy's heart speed up instinctively. She stared at him, silently calculating him.
Then she opened her mouth, "Do you…know who I am?"
Was this a trap? Maybe this girl was really his enemy….
And each regret and each goodbye, was a mistake too great to hide.
"No," he answered, only lying slightly. He only remembered her, he didn't know who she was.
Pain flashed through the girl's eyes. She nodded and looked away from him.
"Should I?" He asked her, wanting to find out why she was so important to him, before revealing he did actually remember her, somewhat.
He glanced down at the necklace she was wearing. It had all different kinds of beads on it. But one in particular caught his eye… it had a trident one it. He looked down and realized he had a necklace similar to hers, except didn't have near as many beads on it. But he also had the trident one. Suddenly it all flashed back to him.
And your voice was all I heard, that I get what I deserve.
Annabeth. Wise-girl, the friend who had always been there for him, through thick and thin. The person who held him to this world.
He reached forward and crushed her to his chest.
He heard a muffled, "Percy…?"
He grinned into her hair, and promised himself and her, he would explain everything later but for now all he said was, "Gods, I've missed you wise girl."
So give me reason, to prove me wrong, to wash this memory clean. Let the floods cross the distance in your eyes. Give me reason to fill this hole, connect the space between, let it be enough to reach the truth the lies, across this new divide.
