Sleeping Feline
Erm. This is just a little cute oneshot I decided to do. Takes place before Next Gen. Implied SilverxBlaze. Friendship-wise. I don't really see Silver "loving" anyone. One sided BlazexSilver (Romance-wise) if you're picky.
Blaze stretched her long, feline form. She got down on all fours, walked around the spot three times, and laid down. She closed her eyes slowly, and meowed gently.
Silver watched her from the other side of the safe haven. It had been a long day. They had encountered Iblis twice. On the second time, they had to retreat. They were both so tired after the long day.
Silver walked toward Blaze's sleeping form. She did not stir, so Silver guessed she was asleep. The last few steps he took toward her were as quiet as possible, not wanting to wake her up. Silver sat down next to her, and started to stroke her head. She purred gently. Silver's lips slowly turned to a small smile as he looked down on her.
Silver lowered his hand to scratch her chin. Instinctively, Blaze lifted her head up slightly, though she did not awaken. Her purrs grew slightly louder. Silver lifted his other hand, and used it to pet her again, going down her back. Her lips twisted into a small smile.
Silver yawned, and slowly lowered his head onto hers. He closed his eyes, retained his smile, and fell asleep.
When Blaze woke up the next morning, she found herself in Silver's embrace. It was comfortable, and warm. Blaze decided, after a few moments of shock, that she liked it. In fact, she would like nothing more than to stay like this, but it couldn't happen. Instead of moving, however, she closed her eyes and tried to get some more rest.
Erm. Right. I'm glad I got that off my chest. SilverxBlaze is my new favorite couple, and I just wanted to write something on it. Now, to get to my more pressing stories.
