The fireworks danced across the sky as they exploded into a void of colour, an explosion of emotion as they raged across the moonlit, starry sky, glittering as the colours swirled in harmony. I stood awestruck, the colours etching across my memory, provoking lurking emotions to spread like wildfire, as I stood in amazement at the sheer beauty displayed before me. As the booms slowly died down, the smoke from their wake drifting into the breeze I couldn't help but think that something was missing, or rather, someone. Shaking my head at the ridiculous thoughts I cast them astray, focusing only on the beauty displayed before me. The sparkling of the embers as they fell from the sky, slowly dying in their lingering light as the following shot into the sky again alighting it into a whirl of colour. But still, the treacherous thoughts reoccurred, enveloping my mind into a world of doubt, I struggled and fought as the raging emotions sought to take over, rendering me useless, dismissed into a dark corner of my foreboding mind, overpowering me, they exploded, images and thoughts swirling by, cutting daggers into my fragile skin, imprinting their wake upon me. I tried to scream, but no sound was heard, the silent scream of agony caught in my throat, refusing to release, to save me from this torturing imprisonment. And then, I saw them, those people, the pain unlike no other which they caused, trapping me into a void of my own, imprisoning me into a cruel, harsh dimension. The pain increased dramatically, stabbing me over and over, toying with me as I cried in agony. I felt myself slipping, the pain to intense, as my hold on the world loosened its firm grip, I struggled to remain in control as the aggressive emotions blasted into me, chuckling darkly as I desperately struggled to hold on, but alias I fell. The darkness hungrily consuming me as though I were a long awaited treat, I let go of the struggling accepting utter defeat, as the darkness covered me, booming with laughter as I fell deeper and deeper into its folds, the souls of those before me screaming in agony and pain as the rushed through me. And finally the darkness etched across my mind, the searing pain no more as my body fell limp to the darkness's waiting hands, numbness spread throughout my body, but the fear was gone replaced with acceptance for my cruel fate. My last words, breathlessly leaving my mouth, "Sasori, we shall finally be together again"
