Disclaimer: If I owned HP do u really think I would be writing on ff. The answer "NO". I do not own HP and the only way I would is if be some freaky chance I became JK's long lost daughter and just after we have our amazing reunion party she dies in a car accident but she had enough time to change her will and makes me sole owner of HP, yeah right, but I can dream, right?

Enjoy!

Hermione didn't know what to do. She went to the only place in the school that she knew was hers. He can't be dead, he just can't. What are we all going to do now? Oh God, we are all gonna die I just know it. These were the thoughts swimming around her head and they refused to shift until she realized that her own private spot by the lake was already taken. She didn't quite know how this person knew about this spot because it was concealed from the naked eye by the huge weeping willow that grew by the lake.

"What are you doing here?" She was irritated because she desperately wanted to be alone so that she could let all her emotions out.

He jumped and turned around in his sitting position, "Oh, Hermione it's you." Fred said while wiping his eyes. "I didn't know people knew about this place."

"This is my place, my PRIVATE place." She was really pissed now because she really needed to cry. To day had been a very emotional for her and for most people.

''Sorry, but –'' he started but Hermione couldn't hold it back any longer. She fell to the floor with her hands covering her face, her shoulders shuddering with the silent tears cascading down her face and into her hands.

"Hermione, it will all be ok eventually." He said in a soothing voice. He cradled over to her and put his arms around her. She protested for a few seconds before throwing he arms around him and freely crying in to his shirt.

He just sat there with her and occasionally rubbing her back when the shuddering got worse. She just kept crying and crying.

After about two hours later she final stopped shuddering and went to the odd sniff but he still hugged her. He had got his crying over with now it was her turn to grieve.

"You ok now?" he asked when the sniffs became less frequent. And she nodded and removed her face from his chest and placed her head on his shoulder.

"That's good. You had me scared for a while that you might drown me with all those tears." And in response to this, Hermione let out a little giggle.

She lifted her head and smiled at him, "thanks for being here, thanks for letting me cry on you and thanks for making me laugh when I thought it would never happen again."

"No problem, I'm always here for any of those things." He replied. "I'll always be here for you, Hermione. But I think you already knew that."

And as a reply to that comment she leaned forward, their faces getting closer and closed, but she hesitated.

"It's ok." He said and then closed that gap between their lips and gently kissed her.
